Planten kaldes ogs\u00e5 n\u00f8genjomfru.<\/p>\n<h2>Beskrivelse<\/h2>\n<p>Bladene danner en grundstillet roset, der kommer frem om for\u00e5ret sammen med fr\u00f8kapslerne. <\/p>\n<p>Bladene er smalt lancetformede og ca. 40 cm lange med hel rand og parallelle ribber. Begge bladsider er lysegr\u00f8nne.<\/p>\n<p>Blomstringen sker september-oktober, n\u00e5r bladene for l\u00e6ngst er visnet v\u00e6k. P\u00e5 det tidspunkt skyder der 1-3 blomster frem.<\/p>\n<p>De er regelm\u00e6ssige med seks lysviolette blosterblade. Frugtknuden ligger skjult i jorden indtil for\u00e5ret. <\/p>\n<p>Da ser man kapslerne skyde gr\u00f8nne op af jorden, modnes og blive brune, s\u00e5 de mange fr\u00f8 kan spredes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Giftstof<\/strong>: Colchicin, der kan medf\u00f8re d\u00e5rlig celledeling og give hjertesvigt og lammelse af \u00e5ndedr\u00e6ttet.<\/li>\n<li><strong>D\u00f8delighed<\/strong>: Indholdet af colchicin i bladene varierer meget, s\u00e5 alt mellem 3 til 60 g. kan v\u00e6re en d\u00f8delig dosis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Symptomer<\/strong>: T\u00f8rst, volsomme opkastninger, mavesmerter, blodig diarr\u00e9 og en br\u00e6ndende f\u00f8lelse i munden.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modgift<\/strong>: Drik vand, provok\u00e9r opkast og kontakt l\u00e6ge.
