Bynkefugl (Saxicola rubetra) er en 12 centimeter stor spurvefugl, der n\u00e6sten kun yngler i Europa. <\/p>\n

I Danmark findes den i \u00e5bne omr\u00e5der med h\u00f8je urter og buske, eksempelvis strandenge, moser, heder eller klitter. Den lever af insekter og andre sm\u00e5dyr som tages p\u00e5 jorden eller i luften.<\/p>\n

Det er en tr\u00e6kfugl, der overvintrer i tropisk Vestafrika.<\/p>\n

Bynkefugl kendes blandt andet p\u00e5 at v\u00e6re forholdsvis korthalet og p\u00e5 en kraftig hvid \u00f8jenbrynsstribe og hvide felter p\u00e5 basis af halens sider. Hannen har i yngledragt m\u00f8rkt hoved og orangebrunt bryst, mens hunnen er blegere farvet.<\/p>\n

Arten er g\u00e5et meget tilbage siden 1990’erne, men er stadig almindelig visse steder, is\u00e6r i den vestlige del af landet. <\/p>\n

I landede \u00f8st og nord for Danmark er bestandene af bynkefugl stabile.<\/p>\n
