Galneb\u00e6r er en fler\u00e5rig, urteagtig plante<\/a> med en buskagtigt forgrenet v\u00e6kst. <\/p>\n

St\u00e6nglen<\/a> er h\u00e5ret og r\u00f8dfarvet p\u00e5 lyssiden. Bladene er spredtstillede<\/a>, \u00e6gformede til elliptiske og helrandede med nedl\u00f8bende stilk.<\/p>\n

Oversiden er glat og gr\u00e6sgr\u00f8n med lyse bladribber, mens undersiden er en smule lysere og h\u00e5ret langs ribberne.<\/p>\n

Giftighed<\/p>\n

Galneb\u00e6r er en af de f\u00e5 virkeligt d\u00f8deligt giftige planter i Danmark. Nogen f\u00e5 mener b\u00e6rrene i gamle dage var en ingrediens i vikingernes <\/a>bers\u00e6rker-drik, og m\u00e5ske kommer plantens navn “galneb\u00e6r” derfra. Specielt b\u00e6rrene er giftige, men de kan se appetitlige ud for b\u00f8rn. Ved indtagelse er symptomerne: r\u00f8dmen i ansigtet, t\u00f8rre slimhinder<\/a>, forh\u00f8jet puls, “h\u00f8j”, hallucinationer<\/a>, krampe og \u00e5ndedr\u00e6tslammelse.<\/p>\n

Sl\u00e6gtsnavnet Atropa<\/a> er dannet ud fra navnet p\u00e5 den gr\u00e6ske sk\u00e6bnegudinde, Atropos<\/a>, der klipper livstr\u00e5den over, og det har siden givet navn til det vigtigste af plantens giftsstoffer, atropin<\/a>. I frugterne findes desuden andre alkaloider<\/a>: scopolamin<\/a>, apoatropin, belladonnin og scopoletin.<\/p>\n

For b\u00f8rn er 3 b\u00e6r d\u00f8delige og det samme er 10 b\u00e6r for voksne.
