Alle katte, der adopteres fra Dyrenes Beskyttelses internater, bliver m\u00e6rket og registreret.<\/p>\n

Dette sikrer, at katten kan finde tilbage til sin ejer, hvis den skulle blive v\u00e6k. Det er dog afg\u00f8rende, at katteejere selv tjekker, at registreringen er korrekt.<\/p>\n

Det sker desv\u00e6rre ofte, at Dyrenes Beskyttelses internater modtager katte, som er m\u00e6rkede, men ikke registrerede. <\/p>\n

Selvom det er tydeligt, at katten har et hjem, bliver det n\u00e6sten umuligt at finde frem til ejeren, n\u00e5r registreringen mangler.<\/p>\n

Det er alligevel lykkedes personalet p\u00e5 dyreinternaterne at finde frem til ejere af forsvundne katte et par gange. <\/p>\n

– Vi oplever gang p\u00e5 gang, at katteejerne bliver overraskede over, at katten ikke er blevet registreret korrekt hos dyrl\u00e6gen. <\/p>\n

Derfor er det vigtigt, at man som katteejer selv f\u00f8lger op p\u00e5 kattens registrering, s\u00e5 den kan komme sikkert hjem igen, hvis den skulle blive v\u00e6k, siger Karina Fisker, internatchef ved Dyrenes Beskyttelse. <\/p>\n

Det er ejers ansvar at sikre korrekt registrering<\/h2>\n

For at f\u00e5 sin kat m\u00e6rket og registreret, skal man bes\u00f8ge en dyrl\u00e6ge. <\/p>\n

En chip kan inds\u00e6ttes uden bed\u00f8velse, men for at \u00f8rem\u00e6rke katten kr\u00e6ver det fuld narkose, hvilket ofte g\u00f8res i forbindelse med sterilisation eller kastration.<\/p>\n
