Bogfinke (Fringilla coelebs) er en 16 centimeter stor spurvefugl<\/a>, der yngler i store dele af Europa og mod \u00f8st til Centralasien. <\/p>\n

Arten er desuden indf\u00f8rt til New Zealand. Den er en af de almindeligste fuglearter i Danmark med en bestand p\u00e5 muligvis op til 2 millioner par.<\/p>\n

Udseende<\/h2>\n

Hannen har bl\u00e5gr\u00e5 isse og nakke, mens undersiden samt kinder og ryg er r\u00f8dbrune, overgumpen<\/a> er gulgr\u00f8n. <\/p>\n

Hunnen er mere anonym med olivenbrun overside og lysere gr\u00e5brun underside. Begge k\u00f8n har to hvide b\u00e5nd p\u00e5 vingerne og hvide halesider. <\/p>\n

N\u00e6bbet<\/a> er kegleformet og hos hannen bl\u00e5gr\u00e5t i yngletiden, mens det er brunt om vinteren.<\/p>\n

Levested<\/h3>\n

Bogfinken yngler n\u00e6sten alle steder med tr\u00e6bevoksning, b\u00e5de i n\u00e5letr\u00e6splantager, h\u00f8jstammet b\u00f8geskov, levende hegn og parker.<\/p>\n

Om efter\u00e5ret kan bogfinkerne samle sig i store flokke bl.a. p\u00e5 stubmarker.<\/p>\n
