I perioden 1979-2007 havde han ansvaret for forureningsoverv\u00e5gningen af de \u00e5bne danske farvande.<\/p>\n<p>Han har redigeret hovedparten af de marine NOVANA havrapporter og landsd\u00e6kkende iltsvindsrapporter. <\/p>\n<p>Han modtog \u00d8sters\u00f8prisen 1998 for p\u00e5visning i begyndelsen af 1980\u2019erne af, at iltsvind skyldtes landbrugets tab af kv\u00e6lstof til vandmilj\u00f8et, og for medvirkning til opbygning i DK i 1990\u2019erne af m\u00e5ske verdens bedste overv\u00e5gnings- og rapporteringsprogram vedr. n\u00e6ringsstofbelastning og effekter.<\/p>\n<p>Tidligere seniorr\u00e5dgiver ved Danmarks Milj\u00f8unders\u00f8gelser, Afdeling for Marin \u00d8kologi, gennem 29 \u00e5r &#8211; milj\u00f8overv\u00e5gning af de danske farvande, vurdering af deres tilstand og udvikling, samt r\u00e5dgivning af centrale og decentrale myndigheder i milj\u00f8sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Redder vi havet, hvis vi stopper svineeksport og kun laver de svin, som vi selv kan spise i Danmark?
