Naturparken er et sammenh\u00e6ngende naturomr\u00e5de p\u00e5 50 km2 omkring den \u00d8vre M\u00f8lle\u00e5dals istidslandskab. <\/p>\n<p>Den ligger mellem de gamle landsbyer <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Farum\" target=\"_blank\">Farum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nym%C3%B8lle_(Aller%C3%B8d_Kommune)\" target=\"_blank\">Vassinger\u00f8d<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lynge_(Aller\u00f8d_Kommune)\" target=\"_blank\">Lynge-Uggel\u00f8se<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Slangerup\" target=\"_blank\">Slangerup<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/J\u00f8rlunde\" target=\"_blank\">J\u00f8rlunde<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/\u00d8lstykke_Stationsby\" target=\"_blank\">\u00d8lstykke<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Slagslunde\" target=\"_blank\"><Slagslunde\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ganl\u00f8se\" target=\"_blank\">Ganl\u00f8se<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kirke_V\u00e6rl\u00f8se\" target=\"_blank\">Kirke V\u00e6rl\u00f8se<\/a> og <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/V\u00e6rl\u00f8se\" target=\"_blank\">Lille V\u00e6rl\u00f8se<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dette omr\u00e5de er pr\u00e6get af tunneldallandskaber med s\u00f8er, dale og \u00e5se dannet under sidste istid.<\/p>\n<h2>Baggrund<\/h2>\n<p>Initiativet til en naturpark i omr\u00e5det blev taget af cigarsorterer Thorvald Vognsen i marts 1942 efter dr\u00f8ftelser med blandt andre statsminister <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thorvald_Stauning\" target=\"_blank\">Thorvald Stauning<\/a> og forfatter og nobelprismodtager <a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Johannes_V._Jensen\" target=\"_blank\">Johannes V.
