De f\u00e6rreste af os har adgang til de industristalde, hvor omkring 40 millioner grise bliver f\u00f8dt hvert \u00e5r. <\/p>\n

Men bag staldenes mure udspiller sig en dyrevelf\u00e6rdskrise, som alle b\u00f8r forholde sig til. <\/p>\n

Der har i \u00e5rtier boet langt flere grise end mennesker i Danmark. I dag er den danske svineindustri enorm med en produktion p\u00e5 omkring 40 millioner grise hvert eneste \u00e5r.<\/p>\n

Men der er millioner af tegn p\u00e5, at grisene ikke trives i staldene. Over en fjerdedel af grisene er enten d\u00f8df\u00f8dte eller overlever ikke staldlivet p\u00e5 grund af ekstrem avl og helbredsproblemer. <\/p>\n

At livet i de danske stalde er trist, fremg\u00e5r tydeligt af fem presserende problemer i den danske svineindustri. <\/p>\n

1. Over ni millioner pattegrise d\u00f8r om \u00e5ret<\/h2>\n

Pattegrised\u00f8deligheden i Danmark har v\u00e6ret foruroligende i mange \u00e5r. Alene i 2025 d\u00f8de flere end 24.000 pattegrise om dagen i de danske stalde. <\/p>\n

N\u00e5r s\u00e5 mange pattegrise d\u00f8r, skyldes det blandt andet, at soen er avlet til at f\u00f8de flere end 20 unger per kuld. Nogle af de sm\u00e5 grise mangler derfor allerede n\u00e6ring i fostertilstanden og f\u00f8des d\u00f8de eller underudviklede. <\/p>\n
