Frugt og gr\u00f8nt bliver en mangelvare, hvis Danmark bliver ramt af en alvorlig f\u00f8devareforsyningskrise.<\/p>\n

De seneste 10 \u00e5r er den danske produktion af frugt og gr\u00f8nt faldet med over 20 procent<\/a>. Is\u00e6r for \u00e6bler, p\u00e6rer og b\u00e6r samt gr\u00f8ntsager som tomater, agurk og peberfrugt bliver der l\u00e6ngere mellem det hjemmedyrkede p\u00e5 supermarkedshylderne.<\/p>\n

I dag er det kun 26 procent af de gr\u00f8ntsager, vi bruger, der er produceret herhjemme. For frugt er det kun 9 procent<\/a>. Det er den laveste selvforsyning pr. indbygger i EU. <\/p>\n

Hvis importen af udenlandsk frugt og gr\u00f8nt skulle svigte, vil vi p\u00e5 nuv\u00e6rende tidspunkt ikke v\u00e6re i stand til at producere nok selv til at d\u00e6kke befolkningens behov. <\/p>\n

Blandt andet fordi vi kun producerer frugt og gr\u00f8nt p\u00e5 0,6 procent af vores dyrkede areal<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Til sammenligning producerer dansk landbrug 332 procent svinek\u00f8d<\/a>. Alts\u00e5 mere end tre gange s\u00e5 meget, som vi forbruger.<\/p>\n

– Danmarks animalske produktion er meget intensiv, og det er dyrene, drikkevandet og vores natur, der betaler prisen. <\/p>\n

N\u00e6sten halvdelen af Danmarks areal bliver brugt til at dyrke foder til over 30 millioner grise. <\/p>\n

Med det f\u00f8lger spr\u00f8jtegifte, der forgifter fugle, insekter og pattedyr, og spredning af millioner tons gylle, der kv\u00e6ler vores vandmilj\u00f8er og f\u00f8rer til d\u00f8de zoner, hvor der f\u00f8r var fiskeliv, siger Britta Riis, der er direkt\u00f8r for Dyrenes Beskyttelse. <\/p>\n
