Rusland er et naturomr\u00e5de i Nord\u00f8stsj\u00e6lland, der str\u00e6kker sig langs Pandehave \u00c5 fra Dronningm\u00f8lle Strandvej i nord til Hellebjergvej ved Villinger\u00f8d i syd og ligger i Esb\u00f8nderup Sogn.<\/p>\n

Fredning og habitatomr\u00e5de<\/h2>\n

Omr\u00e5det er delvist fredet og udg\u00f8r ca. 260 ha. Fredningens form\u00e5l er, at sikre de landskabelige v\u00e6rdier og befolkningens adgang. <\/p>\n

Fredningerne i omr\u00e5det begyndte i \u00e5rene 1935-1938 og blev l\u00f8bende udvidet og tilpasset frem til 1974. <\/p>\n

Et areal p\u00e5 14,8 hektar blev i 2019 erhvervet af Fuglev\u00e6rnsfonden som fondens 23. naturreservat.<\/p>\n

Rusland er ogs\u00e5 udpeget som Natura 2000-omr\u00e5de nr. 132 og habitatomr\u00e5de, og er derfor omfattet af s\u00e6rlige beskyttelsesbestemmelser.<\/p>\n

Udpegningsgrundlaget for Rusland er forekomst af de specielle naturtyper t\u00f8rre dv\u00e6rgbusksamfund (heder) og eneb\u00e6rkrat p\u00e5 heder, overdrev eller skr\u00e6nter.<\/p>\n
