Dagp\u00e5fugle\u00f8je (Inachis io) er en sommerfugl i takvingefamilien. Den er udbredt i n\u00e6sten hele Europa og \u00f8stp\u00e5 gennem den tempererede del af Asien til Japan. <\/p>\n

I Danmark findes den over hele landet, selv p\u00e5 mindre \u00f8er. <\/p>\n

Dagp\u00e5fugle\u00f8jen strejfer en del om og kan b\u00e5de ses i det \u00e5bne land og i villakvarterer, hvor der er mange blomster. <\/p>\n

Flest ses dog p\u00e5 fugtige, frodige steder langs skovbryn, i skovlysninger, moser og ved s\u00f8er, hvor br\u00e6nden\u00e6lden vokser. <\/p>\n

De f\u00f8rste overvintrende sommerfugle ses allerede i marts, mens de f\u00f8rste nye eksemplarer dukker op omkring 20. juli. <\/p>\n

I september bliver der f\u00e6rre sommerfugle, idet de nu finder steder at overvintre. Dagp\u00e5fugle\u00f8jen kan vandre over forholdsvis store afstande \u2013 op til flere hundrede kilometer. <\/p>\n

Derfor kan man af og til m\u00f8de den p\u00e5 F\u00e6r\u00f8erne, selvom den ikke almindeligvis er hjemmeh\u00f8rende der.<\/p>\n
