Det kommer ikke til at s\u00e6tte en stopper for det voldsomme forbrug af antibiotika og dermed l\u00f8se Etisk r\u00e5ds bekymring for resistens, at f\u00f8devareministeren s\u00e6nker gr\u00e6nsev\u00e6rdien en smule. <\/p>\n

Behandling af lungebet\u00e6ndelse eller en k\u00e6mpe svineproduktion?<\/h2>\n

Man skulle m\u00e5ske ikke lige tro, at de to ting havde s\u00e5 meget med hinanden at g\u00f8re, men de to ting kan v\u00e6re hinandens mods\u00e6tninger. <\/p>\n

For to m\u00e5neder siden kom Etisk R\u00e5d nemlig med en rapport, der pegede p\u00e5, at en oml\u00e6gning af industrilandbruget er n\u00f8dvendigt, hvis vi i fremtiden ogs\u00e5 skal kunne behandle mennesker med antibiotika.<\/p>\n

I Danmark blev der i 2024 brugt 137 ton antibiotika, hvor 87 ton var til dyrene i landbruget, hvilket alts\u00e5 svarer til omkring 64 procent af det samlede forbrug. <\/p>\n

Og det er s\u00e6rligt svineproduktionen, der f\u00e5r hevet medikamenterne ned af hylden. Grisene fik nemlig 73 ton i 2024, og de st\u00e5r alts\u00e5 alene for over halvdelen af Danmarks totale forbrug.
