Oplev Hals Mose<\/h2>\n

Hals Mose er flere tusinde \u00e5r gammel. Men mosen har haft \u00e5nden\u00f8d. Opdyrkning, dr\u00e6ning, g\u00f8dskning og spr\u00f8jtning pressede naturen tilbage. Nu har naturfonden vendt udviklingen.<\/p>\n

Omr\u00e5det huser en af landets sidste store sumpbirkeskove. Skoven har mange steder v\u00e6ret ur\u00f8rt af skovdrift og huser derfor mange gamle tr\u00e6er.<\/p>\n

Fugle<\/h3>\n

Her yngler flere fuglearter, som har brug for de gamle tr\u00e6ers naturlige redehuller. Det er blandt andre natugle, stor flagsp\u00e6tte, sp\u00e6tmejse, halemejse og gr\u00e5 fluesnapper.<\/p>\n

Insekter<\/h4>\n

Birkeskoven er levested for flere sp\u00e6ndende insekter. Den sj\u00e6ldne sommerfugl birkespinder har et af sine f\u00e5 levesteder i Hals Mose.<\/p>\n

Planter<\/h5>\n

Dele af omr\u00e5det rummer rester af den oprindelige h\u00f8jmose i form af sm\u00e5 lommer af mosetypen fattigk\u00e6r, en s\u00e6rligt n\u00e6ringsfattig natur med blandt andet k\u00f8d\u00e6dende planter som rundbladet soldug.<\/p>\n
