Hele omr\u00e5det ligger i omkring 100 m h\u00f8jde, og her finder man bl.a. Sj\u00e6llands h\u00f8jeste punkt,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gyldenl%C3%B8ves_H%C3%B8j\" target=\"_blank\">Gyldenl\u00f8ves H\u00f8j<\/a>, med 125,5 m over havoverfladen. P\u00e5 den 113 m h\u00f8je Lerbjerg.<\/p>\n<p>Skovbakken ligger det 57 m h\u00f8je telet\u00e5rn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kultunaut.dk\/perl\/sted\/type-nynaut\/nr-5490\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Lerbjergt\u00e5rnet&#8221;<\/a> der i alt n\u00e5r op i 170 m h\u00f8jde. Omr\u00e5det kaldes ogs\u00e5 for &#8220;det midtsj\u00e6llandske skovh\u00f8jland&#8221;. I den sydlige del ligger Sporvejsmuseet Skjolden\u00e6sholm.<br \/>\nSkovsti i Storskoven<\/p>\n<p>Betegnelsen Bidstrup skovene bruges i to forskellige betydninger<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Et statsejet skovomr\u00e5de best\u00e5ende af skovene Storskoven, Valborup Skov, Hejede Overdrev, Ravnsholte Skov, Avnstrup Skov og Orup Skov p\u00e5 i alt ca. 900 ha.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hele omr\u00e5det inkl. ovenn\u00e6vnte samt skove ejet af godserne Ledreborg og Skjolden\u00e6sholm der tilsammen udg\u00f8r et omr\u00e5de p\u00e5 1900 ha.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skovene st\u00e5r i et st\u00e6rkt kuperet mor\u00e6nelandskab iblandet flere \u00e5bne overdrev. <\/p>\n<p>Der er tale om blandet l\u00f8v- og n\u00e5leskov, med flere dybe s\u00f8er og utallige sm\u00e5 damme og moser. Statsskoven har den h\u00f8jeste l\u00f8vtr\u00e6sandel, men over hele omr\u00e5det et l\u00f8v- og n\u00e5letr\u00e6er j\u00e6vnt fordelt. <\/p>\n<p>    En del af b\u00f8gebeplantningen er klassiske s\u00f8jlehaller, men der er ogs\u00e5 en ganske stor forekomst af gamle tr\u00e6er, ikke mindst langs skovvejene, b\u00e5de eg, b\u00f8g og gran. <\/p>\n<p>Omkring flere af overdrevne findes skovbryn, ogs\u00e5 med gamle, knortede tr\u00e6er, og skovens \u00e6ldste tr\u00e6 findes formentlig p\u00e5 Hejede overdrev, en eg der siges at v\u00e6re over 1000 \u00e5r gammel. <\/p>\n<p>Hist og her er der omr\u00e5der med L\u00e6rk og Ahorn, og der findes flere partier af blandet, ur\u00f8rt skov, og b\u00e5de disse og de v\u00e5de lavninger er s\u00e6rdeles artsrige.<\/p>\n<p>Kildehenvisning:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBidstrup Skovene\u201d<br \/>\nwikipedia.org<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bidstrup_Skovene\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/da.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bidstrup_Skovene<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bidstrup skovene, er et betydeligt skovomr\u00e5de beliggende syd for Kirke Hvals\u00f8 p\u00e5 Sj\u00e6lland.
